Refund Policy
Effective 1 September 2026
This policy explains when payments for Shoodio are refunded. Shoodio is operated by Puristo GmbH, Waldbach 51, 4816 Gschwandt bei Gmunden, Austria, commercial register FN 346897v, Landesgericht Wels. Contact: info@shoodio.ai.
Who you buy from
Payments for Shoodio are processed by Stripe as Merchant of Record. Your purchase contract for the transaction is with Stripe, which issues the invoice, collects any applicable tax and handles refunds under the Sold through Link Terms.
At checkout the purchase is shown as Sold through Link; on your bank statement it appears as LINK.COM* SHOODIO. Stripe sends the receipt and the invoice by email, with the PDF attached.
You can request a refund, view receipts and order history, update your payment method or cancel a subscription through Link support, or from the billing section of your Shoodio account. Questions about the service itself always come to us at info@shoodio.ai.
The general rule
Transactions are non-refundable except where this policy, Stripe's refund policy for purchases sold through Link or mandatory law provides otherwise. Stripe can issue a refund within 60 days of the purchase and decides such requests on its own assessment. After those 60 days, write to info@shoodio.ai: a justified claim is settled directly with us, and a statutory right is never limited by that period.
Business customers
Most Shoodio customers are businesses. A business purchase carries no statutory right of withdrawal. You can cancel a subscription at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period; the period already paid for is not refunded, and access continues until it ends.
Consumers in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland
Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on one-off purchases and on the first payment of a new subscription. It does not apply to subsequent subscription payments, including renewals. To exercise it, contact Link support within 14 days and state "cooling off period" as the reason, or write to us at info@shoodio.ai and we will pass it on.
Because Shoodio is a digital service, exercising this right where performance has already begun with your express request means you pay a proportionate amount for what you actually used. Consumption is measured in credits: every generation, edit and enhancement is recorded with its credit cost and timestamp on your account, and that record is the basis of the calculation.
Nothing here waives a statutory right, and no clause in our Terms of Service does either.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically for the displayed interval until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps access until the end of the paid period.
A plan change always takes effect at the next billing period. Nothing is charged at the moment you request it, and the new price applies from that date. There are no prorated part-period charges or credits in either direction.
On an annual plan, monthly credits are granted month by month rather than as a single yearly amount. This keeps the amount at stake in a withdrawal to one month.
Credits
Credits are service units, not money, and cannot be sold or transferred.
- Purchased credit packs are not refundable, except where mandatory law requires it.
- Subscription credits are included in the plan price. They reset at the end of each billing period and are not paid out.
- A technical failure on our side is refunded automatically to the credit balance it was taken from. You do not need to ask for this.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically over the following days and emails you about it. The subscription moves to past due and generation is paused until payment succeeds. Credits you purchased separately remain on the account and become usable again as soon as the subscription is active.
Complaints
Write to info@shoodio.ai with your order or transaction reference. We reply within five working days. Payment, invoice and refund matters can also go straight to Link support, which handles them as Merchant of Record.
The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025. Consumers in Austria can instead contact the Internet Ombudsstelle, an accredited alternative dispute resolution body. Puristo GmbH is not obligated to participate and decides case by case.
